Two weeks ago, Egypt failed to qualify for the African Cup of Nations for the first time in 30 years. EFA spokesman Azmy Megahed has suggested Bradley will be arriving in Egypt to finalize paperwork sometime this coming weekend.
Bradley replaces longtime coach Hassan Shehata who recently stepped down after a disappointing qualifying campaign.
Personally, I'm pleased to see Bob Bradley find employment at the international level. Despite having his critics, Bradley lead the United States forward and had some admirable accomplishments with the team. His record as a coach is extremely impressive. It is also worth mentioning that an American coach is now in charge of an Arab team. That is something to be proud of. Count me as pleased to see Bradley land on his feet.
Really? I wish him the best. I hope they will show patience if his record is not perfect intially.
